Who’s The Daddy?
Hi. I'm 'JallieDaddy': a bloke, living in south Wales. In March 2010 I became a Dad to twins ('Jallie') relatively late in life. This was supposed to be about how I'm finding it all, whether I'm coping or otherwise, & how it's changing my life. And how has it changed my life? In every way! So now I've sort of figured out that it's not about me - it's about Us. For more, please see my "Huh?" page

Love the look of concentration on their faces!
Yes, it’s not often we let them play with food so they were making the most of it!
Looks messy!
Often the play they enjoy the most!
Sweet! Love the looks of concentration on their faces!
Yes, they look like proper little trainee chefs! Thanks
Mmmm… bet the picture looked a little different five minutes later!
haha – they do usually manage to get themselves coated with whatever craft is on offer, but surprisingly not this time! They hadn’t had their usual nap & were a bit low on energy, so maybe that’s why
Look at the concentration. Were they making pancakes?
Madison xxx
Yes, they were really into it. It was just flour & water; the playgroup weren’t actually making pancakes. Sort of a ‘Pancake Day’ light, I guess. Actually, they’d already done that the day before at a different playgroup, which is the subject of tomorrow’s post
That looks like it could get messy….
It should have, but surpisingly it didn’t!
Love that children enjoy making/baking, was this pancakes?
Me too, I think they may be ready to help out with the cooking now! Just flour & water: ‘practice pancakes’
Love the concentration
Yes, they seemed to really enjoy it
Complete concentration! Did they enjoy the fruits of their labours?
Yes, they were engrossed! It was just flour & water, which I think makes paste: so thankfully not! It was sort of ‘practice pancakes’.
Baking? Great picture.
No, just mixing flour & water. Thanks
Such concentration, did they enjoy themselves?
They spent a lot of time with it, so I think so yes
lovely photo I love the looks on their faces.
Thanks, yes they seem to be really focussed
Aw bless them! Looks fun. Is it cornflour?
They seemed to really enjoy it. Just ordinary flour (I think) & water. Thanks
clearly important work going on there, lovely!
Watch out Jamie Oliver! Thanks
