  1. Hi ‘JallieDaddy’

This is an encouraging post for me as my new blog is now under way and, much more importantly, we are expecting our first child in February. So this time next year we could be in a similar situation to you. At least in ‘site stats not baby stats. The ultrasound just shows the one.

  2. This is a rather clever way of rounding up!! Much more interesting to read! That photo is adorable!! Look forward to reading more of your blog in 2011! 🙂

    1. Thanks! As much has I’d love to the credit – and usually do – all the clever stuff is courtesy of WordPress: I just clicked on a ‘Post this?’ button!

I’d better get writing then, right? 🙂

  3. thanks for leaving me a comment on my blog, yes I agree, Cloud Atlas was an amazing book, you should read more of David Mitchell, I enjoy his style of writing…. but with twins, umm.. well maybe there’s no time to read. I’ll have to follow your blog closely, I’m expecting “grandtwins” this year… son and DIL are truly gobsmacked by the doublewhammy news, and I’m thrilled to bits! Any other twins in your family? Wonder if they are hereditary. My dad had twin brothers but I don’t suppose that makes any difference.

    1. My pleasure. I read No. 9 Dream & enjoyed it, but nowhere near as much as Cloud Atlas. I’ve heard good things about his latest though. And yes, I’ve been trying to read the same book from about when my wife got pregnant!

‘Grandtwins’? You’ll love that: all the fun without the hard work! Their grandparents have never been happier than they are at the moment!

I have cousins who are also boy-girl twins – in fact he was my Best Man – so maybe it does run in the family!

  4. Hee hee…I think it’s hilarious to check out what search words people have used to find your blog. Whiskey and aftershave is a definite success in my opinion.
Someone found my blog by typing in “cream to prevent thighs from rubbing together”…also a total success 😉

    1. Thanks! Yeah it is. Thigh cream: should I ask? Better not…

I recently had “man growing & fattening”, which I thought was a bit harsh. I was sympathetically pregnant! 🙂
